It's not all about the die-cuts

Nearly every post you see about Topps' Diamond Giveaway has something to do with the Diamond Die-Cuts. It just so happens that there are other cards available on the site.

I finally got one I've been trying to get since they did the giveaway last year. All it cost me was a 1968 card I didn't care about.

Despite the fact that Chris Speier is a Giant, this is a great play at the plate card. I could give you a rundown of the card, but Chris from the 1973 Topps Photography blog already did that.

I'm sure the card I get from Topps will be mis-cut or creased with corners rounder than a NASCAR track, but I don't care.

  1. Aw man. I had this card in DG for a while, and I traded it for a 73 rookie All Star. I didn't know you were looking for it.

Although I should have guessed by the picture on the card. One of the PATPs pics ever.

    How'd they know I was a Kentuckian?
